$h!t My Dad Says 5.0

This is a memorable memoir full of comedy and love that I came across while staring at the bookshelves at Hastings. I am very glad that I bought it and would recommend it to everyone to read. Very straight forward fatherly advice that will make you pee your pants or at least chuckle.

Justin Halper has been a magazine editor and you can now follow him along with millions of others on his Twitter account @shitmydadsays. It was this Twitter account that lead him to a book and TV show.

"After being dumped by his longtime girlfriend, twenty-eight-year-old Justin Halpern found himself living at home with his seventy-three-year-old dad. Sam Halpern, who is "like Socrates, but angrier, and with worse hair," has never minced words, and when Justin moved back home, he began to record all the ridiculous things his dad said to him:
"That woman was sexy. . . . Out of your league? Son, let women figure out why they won't screw you. Don't do it for them."
"Do people your age know how to comb their hair? It looks like two squirrels crawled on their heads and started fucking."" Synopses from Barnes and Noble.
This book was turned into a TV series with one season from 2010 to 2011, staring William Shatner, Jonathan Sadowski and Nicole Sullivan. I need to find this series and watch it, I would love to see how Shatner plays the role.
